On Valentine’s Day The Charleston Trust invited artist, actor Lauren John Joseph and actor Pearl Mackie for a broadcast event, to read love letters from Virginia Woolf to Vita Sackville-West and vise versa. Shootlab were asked to produced four films covering the readings. The videos formed part of a Charleston Facebook Live Event. We recored the films in Duncan Grant's Studio at Charleston in Sussex. This month SHOOTLAB produced an e-commerce Web store for UK based Natural Skincare and Wellness brand 360 Botanics Firstly if you are looking to have an online shop created, an e-commerce website.... whether you want to sell one product, or hundreds, we can bring your business online and create a website shop that works for you. We will create and Build an online Web store that will you to run and manage your own changes, updates as well as being able to add new products and Blog posts. It's always a good feeling when one of our client Website's is launched and last week it went live, generating new sales and getting some good customer feedback. Pip from 360 Botanics wanted a Web store that not only looked on-trend and professional, but one that also had effective e-commerce features, that worked seamlessly for her customers and also for the running of the business. The Web shop was created using the Shopify platform, with custom coding and edits to provide all of the features that Pip was looking for. The Website was a significant update for 360 Botanics, coming previously from a Wix generated Website, the new site now allows for proper professional shop features, full control over the ecommerce, and has outstanding site Analytics and extensive payment options. Home page For the shop home page we created a bold, striking image that sets the tone for the web store.. Collection Images We shot a series of Flatlay images and style images for the Websites main 'Collection' pages Product Shots We produced a series of 'style shots' for the main Collection Pages and all of the product shots were studio photographed, all shot against a white background. We wanted the products themselves to have a uniformity and consistency in the way they looked and also to stand out on the page. Blog Layout Design We designed a template for 360's regular Blog updates, once again with Photography playing a key visual element. Shootlab were commissioned by Larking Marketing Agency to shoot a series of architectural Photographs and produce a Video Web Banner for Flimwell Park's Website Home Page. Flimwell Park is an innovative, sustainably built, eco live /workspace development in Flimwell, East Sussex. Once completed Flimwell Park will have a series of 8 units, some operating as unique Coworking spaces, which include hot-desking, small office spaces, and meeting rooms, others will be used as standalone business units and the remaining as spaces for Artisan Makers and Craft People. What is Flimwell Park? Flimwell Park is a pioneering new mixed-use woodland centre set amongst 46 acres of broadleaved, coppiced woodland, in the heart of beautiful East Sussex ... All of the buildings on the site are sustainably built and made from 100% eco-construction. There is an onsite restaurant/cafe Birchwood restaurant nestled in the woodland landscape for workers and visitors alike. People may choose to visit and walk amongst the woodland pathways, stop by at one of the Makers workshops to see what's going on, and then take a refreshment break at Birchwood restaurant. The site also has two large sustainable houses being built, in eco as well as the 'Focal Building' that will be taken by Bartlett School of Architecture. The architecture students will visit from their London University and use the space to create experimental structures in the large hall space. They will also be able to stay overnight in one of the eco solar-powered chalets. Flimwell Park - Website Banner Video & Facebook Banner Video Where is Flimwell Park? Curve Pusher are a UK Vinyl Record Cutting facility and recording studio located in Hastings, East Sussex. They have the highest-quality sound equipment and facilities for recording, mastering, and then cutting to Vinyl. The studios have two Neumann Cutting lathes in-house, the Neumann VMS70 Cutting Lathe & the Neumann VMS70 vinyl cutting lathe, of which there are only 100 left in the world (vinyl record cutting machine).They also have a full range of vintage keyboards, drum machines & analog synthesisers including a Minimoog, Korg-MS20 Monopoly, all the classic Roland Drum machines including - TR909, TR808, TR606, TR727. We had the privilege of learning about the record-cutting process whilst filming and also photographing the iconic sound equipment. The company moved to Hastings in 2018. The new recording studio and vinyl record cutting machines were designed and the construction was overseen by founder Lawrie Dunster, with attention to every detail being made, the studios were equipped and fitted out to the highest specification. How are records made? Curve Pusher own some of the highest quality record-cutting equipment that has ever been made including several Neumann VMS70's which are now rare. What are some of the best Vintage Synths to own? Curve Pusher own some of the most collectable vintage synthesisers. These are used by musicians in their recording studio and for session work. The synths they own include Minimoog, Korg-MS20 Monopoly as well as all of the classic Roland Drum machines from the TR909, TR808, TR606 to the TR727. We produced the film for Locate East Sussex business support group. Burning Sky microbrewery is located in the quirky village of Firle, near Lewes in East Sussex. They are one of the most respected craft breweries in the country. Burning Sky have won many industry awards and are particularly known for their Pale Ales. Their beers fuse English-style Pale Ale traditional with Belgium-inspired flavours and are truly amazing. In May, Shootlab embarked on an exciting summer photography shoot for the renowned skincare brand, 360botanics, to capture stunning images for their Summer Photography Campaign across their website and various social media platforms. Our picturesque location was none other than the splendid Villa S'Hort Gran des Palmer in Mallorca. Villa S'Hort Gran des Palmer is a breathtaking photoshoot location, with it's beautiful stone walls and gorgeous tropical plants, perfect backdrop for a botanical skincare brand. Whilst there we couldn't resist getting the DJI drone out to capture the beautiful mediterranean landscape. The photo shoot coincided with 360botanics winning 'best buy' for their Super Serum in the The Green Parent magazine's Natural Beauty Awards.
