Pre-Production: The Foundation

First and foremost, the planning process is always crucial to us here at Shootlab Before filming, our Shootlab team will work together to develop a concept, create a storyboard, and plan the shoot. Production: Capturing the Magic

Once the planning is complete, the real fun begins. On the shoot day, our crew arrives early to set up equipment, light the environment, and get ready for action. Meanwhile, our director/cameraman works with the client to run through questions for the interviewee and checks locations for sound and lighting conditions and ensures that everyone is ready for the cameras to start rolling.

The Role of the Director/Cameraman

During filming, the director/ cameraman is in charge, calling the shots and making decisions in real-time. Meanwhile, the Videographer and crew capture every moment, working to get the perfect shot.

Post-Production: Refining the Story

Once filming is complete, the hard work of post-production begins. This involves the meticulous task of editing the footage, piecing together the best takes to create a smooth and coherent story. It's a crucial step in the process, as it can make or break the final product. Our Video Editor will have a strong understanding of the narrative, as well as an eye for detail and a good sense of timing. All of our Video Editors here at Shootlab are experienced and have technical proficiency in editing software, as well as being good at Colour Grading and incorporating moving Graphics.

Delivery: Meeting Client Expectations

Finally, the video is ready for delivery to the client. Our Video Production team will work closely with the client to ensure that the final product meets their expectations, and to make any final tweaks or changes if necessary.
