Dezeen Awards Trophy | Arts & Culture Documentary

Shootlab was commissioned by the global design authority Dezeen to produce a cinematic mini-documentary chronicling the creation of the Dezeen Awards Trophy. The film documents the intricate design and manufacturing process by the Dutch studio Atelier NL, capturing the raw beauty of the craft and the conceptual depth behind the award.

 

Our team provided full-service documentary production, utilising on-location filming at the Atelier NL studio in Eindhoven, to capture the authentic, tactile nature of the production process. By employing an observational filmmaking style and cinematic visual storytelling, we crafted a narrative that celebrates the intersection of design, heritage, and artistry. The project was finished with professional post-production, including bespoke colour grading and sound design, to deliver a broadcast-quality film that reflects the prestige of the Dezeen brand.
